The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) defines plagiarism as:

“When somebody presents the work of others (data, words or theories) as if they were his/her own and without proper acknowledgment.”

Pakistan Economic and Social Review Adopts HEC Plagiarism policy. All manuscripts submitted to PESR are initially scrutinized for Plagiarism check by using software Turnitin. Required limit of plagiarism is 19%. If manuscript found to exceed the restricted limit, it would lead to reject the submission.
